huffingtonpost:

It was a moment Anthony Carbajal will never forget: standing on the stage of one of TV’s most popular talk shows, fighting for a cause that touches him and his family profoundly. All while his mom looked proudly on.

Watch Anthony and Ellen do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and see the full interview here.

I think about dying but I dont want to die. Not even close. In fact my problem is the complete opposite. I want to live, I want to escape. I feel trapped and bored and claustrophobic. There’s so much to see and so much to do but I somehow still find myself doing nothing at all. I’m still here in this metaphorical bubble of existence and I can’t quite figure out what the hell I’m doing or how to get out of it. Matty Healy (via forever-and-alwayss)

It makes me so fucking pissed off when people romanticize self-harm. No, fuck that. It’s not beautiful to see fresh cuts. It’s heartbreaking to see that, because they are pushed so far to the edge that they’d rather spill their blood than anything else. What’s beautiful is seeing scars healed, because that person has lived a hell of a life and is still here. That’s fucking beautiful.
